Julemærkehjemmet Fjordmark

Race with Heart is a fantastic event. We’re delighted that so many people want to help with everything from delicious food to fast cars.
Race with a Heart gives us an important and large financial contribution to help children at the Christmas Seal Home throughout the year, while giving the children a great experience on the day.

“We at Fjordmark look forward to the Race with Heart every year,” says Jesper Lildholdt, head of the Fjordmark Christmas Seal Home. It’s great to see the joy and light in the children’s eyes when they’ve been out driving fast in one of the cool cars. Some children are excited and ready for the trip, others have to cross a line and are very nervous. What they all have in common is that they come away from Race with Heart with a great experience and a greater belief in themselves.

Race with the Heart supports in every way what we want the children to achieve during their stay at Julemærkehjemmet – good experiences, greater self-confidence and not least community.

“At Julemærkehjemmet Fjordmark, we receive 150 children between the ages of 7 and 14 every year, all of whom are “hurting in life”.

Many are bullied daily, many are lonely and many experience illness, abuse and neglect in their everyday lives. Our children have many challenges in their everyday lives, so a ride in a dream car will surely give them an experience they’ll never forget. The need for help is great. 164 children are currently waiting for a place at the Christmas Seal Home.

We run the Julemærkehjemmet solely on our own funds, so the support from Race with Heart will be a huge gift and help raise awareness of our desire to help children in Denmark who are struggling, and unfortunately there are many of them.
